This policy covers the A(nother) Word Game app for iPhone and iPad, made by Galactus Inc.

Data we collect

Email address. You sign in with it. We send your sign-in codes to it.
Username and display name. You can choose a username so friends can find you. Your display name is the part of your email address before the @. Other players in your games and your friends see your display name and username.
Game data. Your online games, tiles, moves, scores, invites, friends, and player stats.
Push token. If you turn on notifications, we store your device's Apple push token to send turn, invite, and friend notifications.

Solo games against the bot stay on your device. We do not receive them.

How we use it

We use this data only to run the app: to sign you in, to run online games, to show your friends and stats, and to send notifications that you turned on.

The app has no ads, no analytics, and no tracking. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Service providers

Convex hosts the game service and stores the data above.
Resend sends sign-in code emails.
The Apple Push Notification service delivers notifications.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep your data while you have an account.

To delete your account, open Profile in the app and tap Delete account. This deletes your account, email address, username, friends, stats, and push tokens, and resigns your online games in progress. Other players keep their games with you, without your name.

You can also email team@galactus.dev from the address you sign in with, and we will delete your account.
